Training Training Training! Year round with my strength trainer Ernie, 3 days a week, im in Danko's All American Fitness Center working out to get stronger, heavier, and more agile for the upcoming season. I gained 7 lbs in muscle just during this past spring and summer. The top picture shows me on an upside-down Bosu ball in a tuck position( a racing position). This is a balance and core workout. The second picture shows me doing a hang snatch. Its using a 25 lb weight and snatching it from hip level to above my head in one quick movement. Its an explosive movment which will help me push myself out of the starting gate and move quickly in a race course. Then the last picture is showing me jumping over hurtles. Left, up, back, right, left up, back, right, over and over again. it may look easy but it sure does throw yo
u off balance. This is to be able to whip my ski aroung easily to make a gate and carve turns. Everyting I do in the gym has some type of purpose, all to make me fast enough for 2014!
